This is the shocking moment a car plows into a pensioner walking along the pavement in front of horrified passersby.
The man, in his 70s, was seen recoiling in terror as the black Kia 4x4 careered towards him in Bow, East London.
The vehicle sped across the road into the path of an oncoming van before landing in front of two elderly men on the pavement.
The victim in his 70s was rushed to hospital following the terrifying incident after sustaining a head injury.
His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
The man behind the wheel remained at the scene until police arrived. No arrests were made, the Metropolitan Police said.
