AMERICAN HORROR STORY- Father Buries His 6 Year Old Alive In Pennsylvania

GREENE COUNTY, Pa. —A Greene County father is accused of beating his 6-year-old daughter and burying her in the yard.

John Kraft is facing a number of felony charges, including strangulation and aggravated assault.

“There are numerous allegations that are very severe and barbaric in nature,” Greene County District Attorney, David Russo, said.

Russo described the disturbing details that happened at a home on Tollgate Run in Waynesburg, calling it one of the most severe cases he has ever seen.

“It is alleged that he had brutally beaten a child, that the child was choked to the point of unconsciousness, that the child's head was slammed off the floor and off the wall, that the child was buried in the backyard as punishment. One allegation even states that the child was thrown in a hole and left in a hole overnight,” Russo said.

Last month, police say the investigation started when social workers found severe bruises on the 6-year-old girl's face and body.

State police took over the case, and according to the criminal complaint, the child's sibling told investigators after Kraft left his sister in a hole one night, she came back inside the house smelling like sewage.

During the interview, the victim said her father would beat her with a belt and his arm, which had a metal plate in it.
