Journalist Magalea Mazziotti, 43, was attacked in downtown Curitiba, this Thursday (27), while walking wearing stickers in support of former president and presidential candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) on her clothes.
The attack took place around 10:30 pm, on Rua das Flores (Rua XV de Novembro). As recorded in the police report, the aggressor is an unknown man, about 25 years old. Mazziotti suffered multiple blows, including a cut to his brow and injuries to his head and legs. The journalist took four stitches on her face.
“I had my face cut, at first they didn’t take anything. I think [a agressão foi] because I’m wearing a Lula sticker and showing who I’m going to vote for on Sunday. I have a bump on my head and my face was cut,” Mazziotti said.
