Croatian media reports that a mass brawl broke out in the town of Slavonski Brod shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday. A member of the Croatian army was also involved in the fight,, according to the footage, brutally beat a man dressed as Santa Claus. He kicked him in the head several times, and the man is currently being treated in a hospital.
The Ministry of Defense strongly condemned the incident and called on the military police to investigate. If they prove that a Croatian soldier was indeed involved in the fight, a disciplinary procedure will follow.
The injured man is believed to have suffered serious head injuries
The police confirmed to the Index portal that several people were arrested in connection with the mentioned event. “At the moment, three people are detained and a criminal investigation is underway. The fourth person is in the hospital,” he said Tomislav Kovacevic, spokesman for the Brod-Posavina Police Department.
