(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 26 - The row that culminated in a 15-year-old boy being pushed into a moving train on Wednesday at Seregno station, in the province of Monza, was sparked by text message the victim sent to a girl, investigative sources said on Thursday.
Two minors, aged 14 and 15, have been detained in relation to the attack and are accused of attempted homicide.
The boy was pushed into the tracks after the assailants tried to rob his hoodie, but investigators no longer think that theft was the main motive for the attack, sources said.
The victim sustained various injuries and was taken to hospital but his condition was not life-threatening, sources said.
