"The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Omsk Region initiated a criminal case on the death of a 40-year-old electrician of a municipal enterprise in Omsk, on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 143 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of labor protection requirements).
According to the investigation, on March 8, 2023, at about 3 p.m., during the repair work of the contact network in the trolleybus depot located on 2nd Solnechnaya Street in Omsk, an electrician who was on the platform of the car lift fell from a height of 5 meters as a result of a break in the electrical wire . The victim with a severe head injury was taken to a hospital, where he died.
