TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — A man sporting a red and black devil mask and with the words 'kill' and 'darkk one' on his arms was accused of trying to walk into a gentleman's club with a firearm.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the man in the devil mask, Michael Rudman attempted to walk towards the entrance of the gentleman's club with a firearm in one hand and a flashlight in the other.
Video footage from the incident showed that Rudman, 44, walked past at least four people before reaching the door and being stopped by the security guard.
Police say, the security guard saw Rudman with the gun and knocked the weapon out of his hand.
Tampa police say during the scuffle a single round from the suspect's gun went off and struck the door of the venue. No one inside the gentleman's club was injured.
One of the three security guards that apprehended Rudman suffered minor injuries.
When Tampa police were dispatched to the scene, officers found ammunition, knives and firearm accessories. They also found two loaded magazines in his pocket.
