In Shymkent, an "uncontrolled" passenger bus knocked down three pedestrians to death, several more people were hospitalized, BaigeNews.kz reports citing Otyrar.

It is reported that the tragedy occurred on Baiterekov Street. According to eyewitnesses, the driver left the vehicle near the Bakhyt residential complex and went to the toilet, and the bus itself rolled down the hill and ran into people along the way.
According to the Shymkent Health Department, as a result of the accident, three people died at the scene and several injured are in serious condition.
