Crane Falls Over While Working On Bridge Sending Workers Flying

The crane (heavy equipment used in project construction) overturned on the road body right at the causeway bridge to Kuala Langsa Port, to be precise at KM 5 Gampong Sungai Pauh, Monday (10/4) around 17.15 pm.

Until now, the crane cannot be moved, which has caused the traffic flow on the road to not be normal, even cars have to be extra careful crossing because there is enough room on the body of the road for private cars to pass through and for large cars it is certain that they cannot pass.

"Meanwhile, wide-body cars such as trucks and others certainly cannot cross the bridge location, because the road body is covered by the giant crane's heavy equipment," said Yusuf.

Meanwhile, a crane or what is often called a fishing rod, overturned in the afternoon while transporting bridge iron at the KM 5 bridge, Gampong Sungai Pauh, Langsa Barat District. Either because the load is too heavy, it causes it to fall over.

Meanwhile, in the incident, a crane driver named Jowa from Nias, North Sumatra had to be rushed to the Langsa Hospital because he suffered a severe head injury.
