Brazil- Tragedy during an event at the Aeroclube de Itápolis-SP, on Saturday afternoon, ended up leaving one person dead and three injured.
According to initial information, a parachutist was making his descent in the authorized area, but due to the strong winds, he lost control of his equipment and ended up moving to the place where the public was.
The descent was violent, and the parachutist ended up hitting three people, two women and one man, who unfortunately died instantly. He was later identified as Mr Wagner Rubens Gaido, aged 63, from the city of Cosmópolis-SP.
The parachutist also suffered injuries, but is OK. The women were seriously injured and were rescued and taken to Santa Casa de Itápolis.
During the early evening, the organizers announced that the event would be postponed until further notice.
