Uber driver accidentally runs over a child walking in front of his car & gets assaulted by the family while trying to free the child.
Houston Uber driver Muhammad Khan got beaten up while trying to save a 1-year-old child who he couldn't see in front of his car.
When the family got out of his car, they weren't paying attention to their infant who walked in front of the Khan's Uber car.
While Khan tried breaking the small girl free, the family thought it would be smart to beat him up.
The baby, who was about to turn two, and Khan were taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the child didn't make it.
Khan was hospitalized with serious injuries.
A witness said Khan tried to save the girl.
"Mr. Khan stopped the vehicle, but the juvenile was stuck under the left rear tire. Mr. Khan attempted to move the vehicle but was unsuccessful due to all parties assaulting him and pulling him from the vehicle," said the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
