Las Vegas substitute teacher has been charged with punching a student who allegedly called him the N-word.
Re'Krwon Smith, 27, faces charges of battery and assault on a school pupil.
Smith was released on Friday and faces charges of interfering with a student at school and posing a threat to a student.
The student punched by Smith briefly lost consciousness and needed hospital treatment.
