A concerned mother in Minnesota is seeking answers following a distressing incident involving her nine-year-old daughter, who she claims was targeted and physically assaulted on the school playground by a group of girls allegedly motivated by religious and racial bias.
Shawna Larson recounted the troubling details of the attack to Liz Collin Reports, explaining that the incident occurred on Monday, April 29, at Hidden Valley Elementary in Savage.
According to Larson, her daughter's third-grade teacher and principal approached her during the school pickup line to inform her of the incident. They emphasized that her daughter was not at fault and described the attack as a premeditated act perpetrated by four other students in her grade.
"It was revealed to me that this was due to her race and religion because she wasn't Muslim. So, that was pretty shocking to hear," Larson shared.
Additionally, Larson was informed by a teacher that the assailants explicitly cited her daughter's race and religion as the motive for their actions.
The severity of her daughter's injuries became apparent the following day when she started to show visible bruising, including a black eye, and bruises on her arms, back, and legs.
