The boy was taken to the problem-solving room after becoming distressed in the classroom.
The video from April shows a teacher wrestling with Zaire, an autistic student, pushing him against a wall before slamming him onto a floor.
The teacher restrained him on the ground in different positions for about 15 minutes while other teachers came and went, with at least two other students watching.
The boy's mother claims the school did not inform her about the incident until she arrived to pick him up and saw his injuries, and the school tried to blame him.
The family has hired an attorney and plans to file a lawsuit.
