Terrifying Moment This Truck Becoming A Power Station, Electrocuting The Driver

This is the dramatic moment a driver survived after being electrocuted when steel bars loaded on the back of his truck touched overhead power cables.

The trucker, Piya Wattana, was delivering the construction materials to a warehouse in Phuket, southern Thailand when they snagged on the lines at a traffic light. He had his pet cat inside the cabin - which also survived.

CCTV footage shows the driver suddenly realizing his vehicle is stuck and trying to jump out of the cabin.

However, as he leaves he is engulfed in a ball of sparks from the electric shock but miraculously survives and rolls away with minor burns.

The injured driver rolled himself on the side of the road where passersby tended to him, while nearby shop owners extinguished the fire.
