YouTuber's Music Concert Ends In Tragedy When Glass Railing Collapsed, Sending Over A Dozen People Falling 3 Stories

On a fateful Friday night, minutes before midnight, the Rich club , located in Plaza Altus to the west of the Bolivian capital of Potosí, was the scene of a tragedy that left two young people dead and around 15 injured, indicated the Attorney General's Office. State of San Luis Potosí ( FGESLP ).

The accident occurred when a glass railing collapsed from a height of more than 12 meters, causing more than a dozen people who were in the area to fall.

The event was marked by the long-awaited presentation of Mexican singer Kevin Moreno, originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa, who has gained popularity in recent months with phrases like “get them out and HPNOIQ,” attracting thousands of followers throughout the country. The expectation generated by his presentation had led a large number of young people to congregate and saturate themselves in the Rich club.

According to witnesses present, the establishment was crowded, which caused dozens of young people to gather in the exterior hallways of the club. The pressure exerted against the glass railings proved to be too much, culminating in its collapse and precipitating the young people into the void from the third floor.

The scene that followed the collapse was chaotic. The festive atmosphere quickly transformed into a scene of panic and despair.

The young people who managed to escape unharmed or with minor injuries began to run, many of them with blood on their bodies, while others tried to help their injured friends. Screams and cries filled the air as those present tried to comprehend the magnitude of the disaster.

In response to the emergency, elements of the state coordination of civil protection, municipal civil protection, the capital police and the State Civil Guard quickly arrived at the scene.

The authorities cordoned off the area to allow medical attention to the injured and carry out the first investigations into the causes of the collapse.

Of the fifteen injured, five were reported with serious, life-threatening injuries, which has generated additional concern among the victims' family and friends. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine responsibilities and possible structural failures that may have contributed to this tragedy.

The Potosí community is shocked by the incident, and the nighttime entertainment sector faces questions about the security measures in its establishments.
