A man randomly hits an innocent bystander in the back of the head with a five-foot-long stick, then punches another man in the face before fleeing.
The man and his girlfriend were out in downtown Dallas early Saturday morning.
“As we were walking up, I noticed a gentleman holding a big stick, kind of looking like a spear,” the man said.
“And initially, my senses were going crazy, my intuition was going crazy, so I said, you know what, let’s go inside and get a drink.”
The couple later decided to head home “And that’s when I felt it,” he said.
“The sound was loud enough to almost be a gunshot. That’s what scared me.”
No arrests have been made.
