Buffalo PD releases bodycam footage showing an officer fatally shooting a man who sped off, dragging the officer while a child was in the car.
The officer can be heard saying, ‘You’re gonna kill me, bro.’
Officer Ronald Ammerman fatally shot 25-year-old Daevon Roberts during a traffic stop.
The 6-year-old child was in the car without a seatbelt.
Roberts didn't have ID but showed a photo of a Georgia license on his phone.
He claimed the car belonged to his sister and was frequently pulled over for tinted windows.
The car reached speeds of over 60 mph before slowing down.
Roberts allegedly kicked at Ammerman, who then fired multiple rounds, fatally hitting Roberts as they fell out of the car.
A search of the vehicle uncovered a loaded gun under the driver’s seat.
Roberts was transported to ECMC, where he was pronounced dead.
