Colorado police officer who allegedly raped his own daughter is free while the mother is jailed for refusing therapy.

Michael Hawkins, who was praised for his heroism during the Aurora sh**ting, is accused of r*ping his 5-year-old daughter and abusing his son.
The abuse allegedly went on for 20 years from 2002 to 2021.
Hawkins is also accused of molesting his ex-wife Rachel Pickrel-Hawkins' daughters.
Despite all this, the ex-wife is the one who is going to jail.
Why? Because of an ongoing custody battle with Hawkins over their two youngest sons, 10 and 13.
Rachel Pickrel-Hawkins refused to comply with a court-ordered reunification therapy program that would work to "repair" the boys' relationship with their abusive father.
Rachel called the order "nothing but manipulation, psychological abuse" and "coercion and gaslighting."
She was then sentenced to spend 7 weekends in jail.
Hawkins was released on $50,000 bail after being charged with six felony counts of sexual assault.
He is accused of raping his 5-year-old daughter, sexually abusing his ex-wife's daughters who were adopted by him, and holding his son's head under water until he passed out.
