Five men were arrested in connection to the execution of a wealthy businesswoman in San Bernardino, California.
Investigators say five men have been arrested in the "murder-for-hire plot" where Yesenia Torres, 44, was brutally gunned down in broad daylight.
Torres' husband allegedly masterminded the murder during their ongoing fight over millions of dollars of assets.
Initially, the execution looked as if it was a botched robbery. The San Bernardino DA's office now says the plot had been planned for a year.
Investigators say they uncovered $286,000 in cash when the men were arrested.
37-year-old Reynaldo Ruelas reportedly worked as a middleman between husband Sergio Reveles and his business partner Juan Perez.
All five men pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.
