WILSON COUNTY, Tenn.- Parents are horrified after seeing a disturbing video involving a Wilson County daycare worker and their 3-year-old son.
Kendrell Harris, 21, was arrested and charged with child neglect. She spent two weeks in jail.
Natalee and Ray Thompson said the video appears to show Harris carrying Silas by his arms and then allegedly flinging him out of a seat.
In another clip, , they said the video appears to show the worker forcing something into Silas’s mouth.
The parents believe it was another child’s melatonin.
Harris said Silas flipped out of her arms and she didn’t throw him.
She claimed she gave him candy, not melatonin.
Harris has worked in childcare for two and a half years.
She said she was frustrated by ongoing behavior issues with Silas.
