What was supposed to be a wholesome father–son fireworks moment turned into instant backyard chaos when one critical step in the “light and launch” process was, uh… completely ignored.
In the now-circulating video, a dad hands his son a firework rocket, seemingly expecting him to do the obvious thing — let go. The problem? The kid never releases the stick. Instead of soaring heroically into the night sky, the rocket stays put and explodes right in front of him, firing sparks and chaos at ground level like a tiny, angry missile having an identity crisis.
Thankfully, the clip appears to end without serious injury, but the message lands hard: fireworks are not toys, and rockets are not meant to be handheld under any circumstances — especially by kids.
