Young Kids Are Performing ICE Raids On Illegals On The Popular Online Gaming Platform Roblox
37 days ago
Roblox, the massively popular online gaming platform used by millions of children and teenagers, is becoming an unexpected stage for America’s immigration debate.
Marketed as the “ultimate virtual universe” where users can be anything they imagine, Roblox is now hosting virtual Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids and anti ICE protests inside its roleplaying games. Young users are dressing their avatars in ICE style gear, staging mock enforcement actions, and “detaining” other players inside digital neighborhoods.
At the same time, other users are pushing back. Some avatars can be seen holding protest signs with slogans like “We hate ICE,” turning virtual streets into pixelated demonstrations. Roblox bans profanity, so the messaging stays sanitized, but the political intent is unmistakable.
Videos of these reenactments have exploded on TikTok, with one account sharing clips of virtual raids and protests racking up millions of views in recent weeks. Much of the activity appears to be happening inside Brookhaven, one of Roblox’s most popular role-playing games, often on private servers where players can create their own rules and scenarios.
