CHODE RAGE- ‘I Own a Newspaper!’ Cyclist Apparently Thinks He’s Very Important Before Punching Camera
21 days ago
A furious cyclist was caught on camera having an explosive meltdown in Littleton, shouting threats, bragging about owning a “newspaper,” and allegedly punching a camera during a heated confrontation that has since gone viral.
Video of the incident shows the cyclist aggressively confronting a man who was filming, repeatedly ordering him to move and making vague threats about his supposed influence.
“You’re gonna wish you didn’t know my name ’cause I have a newspaper,” the cyclist can be heard saying, before escalating the encounter.
When the man filming warns, “Don’t touch me, sir,” the cyclist responds, “I’ll touch you all I want,” moments before striking the camera.
The confrontation appears to stem from an earlier dispute involving the cyclist and a woman who was driving nearby. According to a woman identifying herself online as the sister of the man filming, the cyclist later gave police a false account of what happened.
She claims the cyclist told officers that her mother hit him with her car, allegations she says are contradicted by video evidence.
“He lied to the cops and everything, saying that my mother hit him when video evidence proves she didn’t even cross into the bike lane,” she wrote. “He chased her for a mile. She was terrified. My brother luckily was nearby, then this occurred.”
