A woman accused of firing gunshots at the Beverly Hills mansion of pop superstar Rihanna reportedly posted a series of disturbing online videos in which she launched wild accusations against the singer, claiming the global icon was “jealous” of her and stealing her ideas.
The suspect, identified as Ivanna Ortiz, was arrested Sunday night after gunfire was reported outside the singer’s sprawling property in Beverly Hills while Rihanna was inside the home.
Authorities say the 35-year-old allegedly opened fire at the residence, sending shockwaves through the upscale neighborhood.
In the aftermath of the frightening incident, a string of erratic videos posted to Ortiz’s YouTube channel began circulating online, offering a glimpse into what appeared to be a bizarre and obsessive fixation on the singer.
In one rambling clip, Ortiz accused Rihanna of stealing from her and claimed the Grammy-winning artist was jealous.
“Got Rihanna over there all jealous,” she said in the video. “Her face is the devil. Rihanna’s face is the devil.”
She went on to allege that the singer had never created music to genuinely reach fans, instead claiming it was used for “witchcraft” and to take things from others.
“I don’t like her and she’s always trying to steal from me,” Ortiz said, urging viewers not to listen to the star’s music or support her.
In another video, Ortiz continued the strange tirade, referencing religious themes and portraying herself as spiritually opposed to the singer.
“Even though the devil and Rihanna are really loud, God and Jesus Christ are doing something,” she said, adding that she considered herself a “Christian woman of God.”
The posts suggested an increasingly erratic worldview in which Ortiz repeatedly framed herself as battling unseen forces she associated with the singer.
In one particularly chilling message directed at the pop star, she declared: “Listen Rihanna, when you die God will take me to my future. You want to kill me.”
The unsettling clips have fueled concerns that Ortiz had developed an obsessive grudge against the global music icon.
Sources close to the singer say the attack has left Rihanna shaken and struggling to understand why her family was targeted.
According to one insider, the singer initially did not realize what was happening when the gunshots rang out.
“Rihanna heard the shots but was confused at first,” the source told People. “Even with strong security, it’s terrifying to realize something like that can still happen.”
The source added that the situation was deeply frightening for the star, though she was grateful that no one was harmed.
Another person close to the singer said she has since tightened security measures and adjusted her schedule in the wake of the incident, including postponing at least one planned photoshoot.
As investigators continue examining the case, further details about Ortiz’s past have also emerged.
Records show she was previously arrested in 2023 in Orlando following an alleged domestic violence incident involving her ex-husband.
According to a police report from that case, the pair had arranged for him to drop off their daughter at Ortiz’s apartment when a heated argument broke out through text messages.
During the exchange, Ortiz allegedly warned him he would be “socked on the nose,” before sending another message stating she would be “throwing punches.”
The officer who reviewed the messages noted that the ex-husband did not threaten her and instead told police he simply wanted them to co-parent peacefully.
Meanwhile, the latest incident in Beverly Hills has raised fresh questions about how the disturbing situation escalated to gunfire outside the home of one of the world’s most famous entertainers.
