A passenger on a flight operated by American Airlines completely melted down mid-flight, forcing the plane to move to another gate so security could come onboard and remove him, according to a viral video filmed inside the cabin.
The footage shows the man sprawled out face-down in the aisle like he’s at the beach instead of on a commercial flight, casually sipping from a plastic cup while passengers around him stare in confusion. Instead of sitting in his seat like a normal human being, he’s lying flat on his stomach in the middle of the aisle while the situation slowly spirals into chaos.
Things quickly escalate when the man launches into a rambling speech directed at the rest of the cabin. At one point he claims doctors recently performed some kind of procedure on him and made a shocking discovery about his blood. According to him, they supposedly pulled “red, white and blue blood” out of his body. That revelation leads to the line that instantly sent the internet into a frenzy: he loudly declares to everyone on the plane that he has “Trump blood.”
From there the rant goes completely off the rails. The passenger starts shouting about rockets built by Elon Musk, telling random people on the plane to praise Jesus, insulting nearby passengers, and throwing out threats about lawsuits like he’s in the middle of a courtroom drama instead of row 22 on a commercial flight.
Eventually the crew has clearly had enough. Over the plane’s intercom, flight attendants announce that the aircraft will be moving to another gate so a passenger can be removed. That’s airline speak for “this guy has officially crossed the line and security is about to deal with it.”
The plane is forced to stop while security boards the aircraft and escorts the man off, giving the rest of the passengers the chance to continue their trip without a guy in the aisle delivering a political sermon while lying on the floor.
The clip has since exploded online, with viewers both laughing at the absurdity and wondering what actually causes someone to crash out like that in a metal tube full of strangers at 30,000 feet. Whether it was alcohol, stress, or just someone deciding to become the main character of the flight, one thing is certain: nobody on that plane expected their trip to include a guy declaring he had “Trump blood” while sprawled across the aisle.
