A routine traffic stop in Hurst, Texas is exploding across social media after a confrontation between a mother and a police officer ended with the woman in handcuffs while her 15-year-old son watched from the passenger seat.

The driver reportedly provided her license when asked but refused to accept the paper citation from the officer, telling him she planned to contest the ticket in court and believed the stop involved racial profiling.
