A dramatic video has emerged appearing to show Alan Ritchson involved in a physical altercation with a neighbor in Tennessee, with the incident reportedly unfolding in front of his young children.
The actor, best known for his role in the hit Reacher series, is seen in the footage confronting a man identified as neighbor Ronnie Taylor during a dispute that escalated rapidly.
According to reports, the clash took place on Sunday, March 22, after Taylor allegedly confronted Ritchson over the noise from his Kawasaki motorbike, claiming the actor had been riding at high speeds through their quiet neighborhood.
Taylor said he asked the actor to stop, telling him: “Can you f***ing stop this please,” before the situation spiraled.
In the video, the man believed to be Ritchson appears to strike Taylor, with the confrontation turning physical as the pair scuffle in the street. At one point, the actor is seen attempting to get back onto his motorbike, only to fall off before eventually managing to leave the scene.
However, accounts from witnesses paint a more complex picture.
Neighbors claim Ritchson was not the aggressor, alleging that Taylor had approached him in an “aggressive” manner and even pushed him off his bike twice before the actor retaliated.
One witness said Taylor ran into the road to block Ritchson, causing him to lose control and crash, while also shouting at him during the confrontation.
The same account suggests Ritchson initially tried to defuse the situation, but became physical only after being knocked to the ground, reportedly in front of his two children who were nearby on motorbikes at the time.
Law enforcement sources say an investigation into the incident is ongoing, though no arrests have been made so far.
Taylor reportedly did not require hospital treatment, but claimed he suffered bruising and swelling to his face following the altercation.
The dispute is said to have been brewing prior to Sunday’s clash, with Taylor alleging he had been repeatedly disturbed by the sound of Ritchson revving his engine in the neighborhood.
He also claimed the pair had exchanged gestures earlier, with both men allegedly flipping each other off during a previous encounter.
