A 22-year-old spring breaker has died after suffering a catastrophic head injury when he was thrown from a moving vehicle during a high-speed crash in Texas.

Michael Brown was seen in widely shared footage dancing on top of a Jeep moments before the vehicle slammed into another car in Port Aransas on March 14. He later succumbed to his injuries on Friday, according to local reports.

Police say the driver of the Jeep, Riley Rhoades, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The crash occurred when the Jeep allegedly collided with a Tesla at high speed, reportedly around 75 mph. Brown was thrown from the vehicle upon impact, sustaining fatal injuries.

Chilling posts from the driver of the struck vehicle have since surfaced online, capturing the chaotic aftermath.

“These are the idiots who hit me going 75 mph. Sitting here trying to get their story straight while their friend is dying,” the individual wrote shortly after the collision.

In a follow-up post, the same person added: “This is the Jeep that hit me going 75 mph in Port A. The man in the video is the one many of you saw lying on the ground at the accident scene.”

The incident has sparked outrage and renewed warnings about reckless behavior during spring break, particularly in popular coastal destinations where partying and dangerous stunts often collide.

Authorities have not released further details about the ongoing investigation, but the tragedy has left a young man dead and raised serious questions about the decisions that led to the fatal crash.
