You know it’s going to be a good segment when a reporter signs up to “try wrestling” and ends up getting launched into the mat on live television.

That’s exactly what happened to Abby Hornacek, who got absolutely suplexed by wrestler Kennedy Blades during a live Fox News segment, and somehow came out of it like a total pro.

And when we say suplexed, we don’t mean a light demo.

We mean full lift, over the shoulder, welcome to the mat. The kind of move that instantly makes everyone watching go, “oh yeah, that’s why I never tried wrestling.”

For a split second you’re thinking, “there’s no way she’s just getting up from that.”

And then… she does.

No panic, no drama, just pops right back up like it’s part of the job and drops an all time line, “I don’t think I can be a wrestler… the mic pack did not survive.”

That’s veteran move stuff right there. Takes a wrestling move on live TV and her first concern is the equipment. Absolute professional.

Credit where it’s due, Kennedy Blades did exactly what she’s supposed to do, show what real wrestling looks like. And Hornacek clearly knew what she signed up for, but still, seeing it actually happen live is a completely different story.
