A horrifying video shows the moment a lion attacks a man after recklessly attempting to feed it raw meat through the bars of a crude cage.

The clip, believed to have been filmed in Pakistan, captures the man standing dangerously close to the powerful predator, which is confined inside a makeshift enclosure built into a wall and secured with bright blue metal bars.

At first, the encounter appears disturbingly casual. The man dangles chunks of raw meat through the bars, teasing the lion and holding the carcass just inches from its face as the animal watches intently.
