There are “look what I found on the way home” kids… and then there’s this absolute legend out of Cianjur who apparently treats wild animals like Pokémon cards.
So the video starts off normal enough, kid gets home from school, dad’s there, standard day. And then out of nowhere, she reaches into her clothes or bag and casually pulls out a full-on snake like it’s a snack she forgot about.
Not a tiny little worm-looking thing either. A legit, long, slithery snake.
And she’s just… vibing with it.
No panic, no hesitation, just holding it up like “look dad, new friend,” while the dad is very clearly trying to figure out what planet he’s on. You can practically see the mental loading screen spinning behind his eyes.
Meanwhile, she’s playing with it like it’s a puppy. Smiling, handling it, completely comfortable. The snake’s just along for the ride like, “yeah this is my life now.”
Now apparently it’s non-venomous, which is doing a LOT of heavy lifting here. Because for most people, “non-venomous” still falls under the category of “absolutely not bringing that into my house.”
But this is where the cultural difference kicks in. In some rural parts of Indonesia, people grow up around wildlife way more than your average suburban backyard. So to her, this isn’t some horror movie situation, it’s just Tuesday.
