Shocking news clip from Fox News: Alphanso Talley – a 26-year-old South Side gangster with a rap sheet longer than most people’s grocery lists – was arrested Saturday morning for armed robbery at a Family Dollar store.
Officers took him to Swedish Hospital for observation after he claimed to have swallowed drugs. While being prepped for a CT scan, Talley was stripped down but kept a blanket over his lap. When one officer uncuffed him, the monster reached underneath and yanked out a hidden 10-millimeter handgun, a gun he somehow smuggled past arrest, search, and hospital security. He blasted Officer Bartholomew in the head, execution-style, then turned and shot the second officer in the face before blasting out a window, leaping to freedom, and hiding under a porch.
Talley now faces over 20 felony charges, including first-degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery of a peace officer, and more. But here’s the part the mainstream media won’t scream from the rooftops: This animal was already out on pretrial release for a previous armed robbery case. He had multiple active warrants, including for armed carjacking and violating electronic monitoring. Court records show he’s been racking up felonies since 2017, armed robberies, battery on a cop, stolen vehicles, yet the system kept cutting him loose. Seven prior felony convictions. On parole. Wanted by police. And still walking the streets thanks to Illinois’ insane Safe-T Act and no-cash-bail policies.
