A bizarre parking lot incident has gone viral after a woman attempting to force a large metal shopping cart into the back of a BMW SUV ended up smashing the vehicle’s rear window — before abandoning the cart altogether.
The incident, captured in a 30-second video circulating widely online, shows a woman wearing a hooded puffer jacket standing behind a white BMW X1 with the rear hatch open.
As the footage begins, the woman aggressively attempts to shove an oversized metal shopping cart into the back of the vehicle despite the cart clearly being too large to fit.
Witnesses online watched in disbelief as she repeatedly rammed the cart toward the open hatch with increasing force.
Seconds later, the rear window suddenly shatters, spraying broken glass across the parking lot as the cart crashes into the vehicle.
But the moment becomes even stranger afterward.
Instead of continuing to load the cart into the now-damaged SUV, the woman immediately pulls it back out, sets it aside, and appears to abandon the entire effort.
The clip quickly spread across social media, where viewers mocked the apparent self-inflicted destruction and questioned what the woman was attempting to accomplish in the first place.
