A viral video circulating online is leaving viewers stunned after showing a man participating in an extremely dangerous nighttime stunt involving a massive falling weight.
The footage, believed to have been filmed in a rural area of India or elsewhere in South Asia, shows a crowd gathered around as a man calmly lies down on a narrow bench beneath a heavy suspended object, which looks very much like a boulder.
After a countdown from people nearby, the large concrete-like block is suddenly released directly onto the man’s chest area.
The impact immediately destroys the bench beneath him, sending up a huge cloud of dust and debris while shocked viewers online struggle to process what they are seeing.
For several seconds, the scene appears catastrophic as the crowd rushes toward the collapsed setup.
But moments later, movement can reportedly be seen on the ground, suggesting the man survived the stunt despite the violent impact.
The crowd itself appears surprisingly calm following the collapse, with no visible panic or signs that the incident turned fatal.
Videos involving similar “strength” or endurance demonstrations have circulated online for years in parts of India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, where performers sometimes allow heavy objects such as rocks, concrete slabs.
