An 81-year-old grandmother known online as “GrammaCrackers” is going viral after reacting with almost unbelievable calmness following what appears to have been a swatting incident carried out against her during a live Twitch stream.
Sue Jacquot, who has built a loyal online following through her streaming content, was in the middle of a 24-hour livestream marathon on May 18 when armed police officers suddenly entered her home with guns drawn.
The disturbing scene unfolded live in front of viewers.
Video from the stream shows officers entering the room and searching the residence while the elderly streamer appeared visibly confused but cooperative as law enforcement moved through the property.
In today’s internet culture, swatting has become one of the most dangerous forms of online harassment, involving false emergency reports designed to trigger heavily armed police responses at innocent people’s homes. The practice has already resulted in injuries and deaths across the United States over the past several years.
Which is exactly why many viewers expected the incident to leave Jacquot shaken or traumatized.
Instead, she came back online the very next day sounding more amused than frightened.
Far from condemning the experience, Jacquot reportedly described the ordeal as “kinda fun,” telling viewers she actually enjoyed the unexpected excitement and the unusual amount of attention she received from family members afterward.
She even complimented the responding officers, specifically mentioning what she described as a “pretty” and “sweet” policewoman involved in the response.
At one point, Jacquot joked that she even enjoyed her first-ever ride in a police car.
After the entire situation ended, the grandmother reportedly took an ibuprofen and simply went back to bed.
