PHOENIX – In a shocking case highlighting the devastating toll of domestic turmoil, a 38-year-old Arizona mother is believed to have opened fire on her husband and another woman outside a Glendale sports bar before driving home and fatally shooting her two young children and then herself, authorities said.

Andrea Clarice Davis died alongside her 10-year-old son, Austin, and 18-month-old daughter, Andolan, in what Phoenix police are investigating as a double murder-suicide at the family’s home near 47th Avenue and Bell Road early Monday morning.

The chain of violence began just after midnight outside Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill near 61st Avenue and Bell Road in Glendale. According to police, Davis confronted her husband of 12 years, Nolan Davis, 39, and a 36-year-old woman he was with. She allegedly fired multiple shots at the pair.

The other woman was struck in the back of the head as she tried to flee in a vehicle, but survived with non-life-threatening injuries. Nolan Davis was not hit. He called 911 and told officers his wife fled the scene in a gray SUV.

Disturbing Texts and a Race Against Time

As officers responded, Nolan Davis received alarming text messages from his wife threatening their children. She reportedly sent a photo showing one of the youngsters bleeding from the head, prompting authorities to rush to the Phoenix residence about two miles away.

When Glendale and Phoenix officers forced entry into the home around 2:30 a.m., they discovered the grim scene: Andrea Davis and both children were dead from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Investigators believe she shot the children before turning the gun on herself.

Both the Glendale bar shooting and the Phoenix murder-suicide remain under active investigation. No charges have been filed as the suspect is deceased.

Friends Point to Jealousy Over Alleged Infidelity

Those close to the family described a relationship strained by suspicion. Andrea Davis’s best friend, Amy Bowers, told local media that Andrea had been “tormented” for about a year by fears that her husband was cheating with a coworker.

“This relationship… completely made her lose her mind,” Bowers said.

Nolan Davis later posted on social media about the bar incident, writing that his wife “attempted murder” on him and tried shooting him in the face. He is now left to grieve the loss of his children. Family members described Austin and Andolan as bright, loving kids and remembered Nolan as a devoted father.

The tragedy has rocked quiet neighborhoods in the West Valley, leaving friends, neighbors, and the broader community searching for answers in the wake of unimaginable loss.
