LOS ANGELES — Fitness influencer and gym owner Bradley Martyn isn’t playing games when it comes to his precious hat — and he just proved it with a thunderous open-hand smack that’s blowing up the internet.
In shocking video footage from inside Martyn’s ZOO Culture gym in Encino, a cocky young guy in a white T-shirt and shorts runs up and yanks the cap right off the musclebound YouTuber’s head. Martyn, wearing a gray tee and backward cap, immediately snaps.“You think that shit is funny?” he barks, before unleashing a vicious slap that echoes through the weight room. “Get the f*** out of here!”
The teen stumbles back, looking stunned, as gym-goers, including women in workout gear, film the chaos in disbelief. Martyn, a towering bodybuilder with millions of followers, then adjusts his hat and storms off like it’s just another day protecting his dome.
This isn’t Martyn’s first hat-related meltdown. Last year, he famously slapped popular streamer Stable Ronaldo after the content creator pulled the same stunt during a visit to the gym. Ronaldo got his own slap in return, but the clip went mega-viral anyway.
In a plot twist straight out of a meme-lord fever dream, the slapped teen and his crew reportedly turned the beatdown into a cash grab. The group, tied to a Solana memecoin launch, saw their token skyrocket after the viral clip, with one report claiming the kid pocketed tens of thousands in fees.
Talk about getting paid to get smacked.
Martyn, who built ZOO Culture into a fitness empire after blowing up on YouTube, has yet to comment publicly on the latest incident. But at this rate, he might want to invest in some industrial-strength hat glue, or start charging admission for the next show.
