These Florida Cops Should Be Canonized To Sainthood For Their Patients Toward This Karen

OCEAN RIDGE, Fla. — A Florida woman who thought she could outsmart the cops with classic sovereign citizen gibberish learned the hard way Tuesday that “traveling” in a Jeep with an expired tag still gets you arrested, and fast.

Bodycam footage that’s blowing up online shows the unidentified motorist being pulled over by Town of Ocean Ridge Officer Gluse for the simple offense of driving with an expired registration. What should have been a quick ticket turned into a three-ring circus when the woman refused to hand over her license, registration, or insurance.

“Why are you pulling me over?” she asked, according to the video.“Because your tag is expired,” the patient officer replied.

The woman immediately launched into the greatest hits of sovereign citizen nonsense: She wasn’t “driving” — she was “traveling.” She wasn’t operating in commerce. And, of course, she demanded a supervisor like a Karen ordering a manager at Applebee’s.

“I am the supervisor right now,” Gluse shot back, cool as a cucumber.

She wasn’t having it. She kept yapping, refusing lawful orders, and escalating the situation until officers had no choice but to yank her out and cuff her. The video shows her being hauled off to the Ocean Ridge Police Department, still running her mouth the whole way.

Once in a holding cell, the reality finally hit. “What is this place?” she asked, according to footage circulating on social media. “This is kidnapped.”No, ma’am. This is called consequences.

Florida cops have seen it all before. Sovereign citizen types love pretending the Constitution grants them a get-out-of-jail-free card for basic traffic laws. Newsflash: Every state requires drivers to show ID during a lawful stop, and expired tags are a legitimate reason to pull someone over. Refuse long enough, and you’re going downtown on resisting charges.
