A Brazilian bus driver is spinning, flipping, and kicking up a storm between routes, and the internet can’t get enough.

In a stunning video that’s racking up millions of views, the driver, decked out in his full uniform, unleashes a blistering display of capoeira right beside his yellow-and-green Gontijo executive bus at the Belo Horizonte bus terminal.

Cartwheels, handstands, acrobatic kicks and fluid spins, all executed with jaw-dropping precision and flexibility that would make gymnasts jealous. The clip, originally shared widely on social media, shows him flowing through the Brazilian martial art like a pro, turning a mundane pit stop into a full-blown spectacle.

The man behind the moves is Vilmar Pereira, better known online as “Motorista Capoeirista.” The 30-something Ribeirão Preto native has been driving for Gontijo lines while moonlighting as a capoeira sensation for years. Videos of him performing at terminals across Brazil, often right after long hauls, have gone mega-viral before, with some clips hitting tens of millions of views.

Capoeira, born in Brazil from the ingenuity of enslaved Africans, disguises lethal fighting techniques as rhythmic dance and acrobatics. Slaves masked their combat training with music, clapping, and ginga, the signature swaying movement, to avoid detection by overseers. Today, it’s a proud national symbol blending martial arts, culture, music, and athleticism.
