A Yonkers landlord flew into a rage and attacked an Amazon delivery driver after he refused to reroute a package meant for her tenant, dramatic footage shows.
The ugly confrontation erupted around 6:30 p.m. on June 15 at 30 Newport Road in Yonkers.
Roselyn Baffoe, who owns the property with William Baffoe, tried to have the Amazon package redirected straight to her front door, without the actual tenant’s permission.
When the driver wouldn’t play along and instead tried to deliver the package properly to the tenant’s door, Baffoe confronted him.
That’s when things turned physical.
Video recorded by the tenant captures the moment Baffoe initiated contact, pushing and grabbing at the driver near the building stairs. The driver can be seen responding as the two scuffle.
Baffoe’s own children jumped in, desperately trying to pull their mother off the driver and de-escalate the chaos.
Both Baffoe and the Amazon driver are now claiming they were assaulted during the clash.
Yonkers police responded to the scene, generated an incident report, and are actively investigating. No arrests have been made so far.
Amazon’s incident response team has also contacted the tenant who recorded the video.
