CHIHUAHUA, Mexico – A wild scene erupted in northern Mexico late Saturday as soccer fans celebrating their team’s World Cup win surrounded and violently rocked a pickup truck before the driver accelerated through the crowd, striking several people.

The incident, captured in a widely shared video, took place in Chihuahua near a monument to revolutionary leader Pancho Villa. Mexico had just defeated South Korea in a World Cup match, advancing in the tournament and sparking street celebrations.

Video footage shows a large group of fans, many wearing green Mexico jerseys and waving flags, swarming a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. Several fans are seen pushing and shaking the vehicle aggressively from the front and sides as the driver tries to move forward.
