A viral clip of “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular wandering the streets of Paris has the internet in stitches and debate.
The 20-year-old streamer, real name Braden Peters, was filming an IRL stream in the French capital when he suddenly got spooked by the massive crowds, declaring parts of the city felt like a “ghetto.”Wearing a black tank top that proudly declared “I lLOVE PARIS,” the muscular content creator was flanked by bodyguards as he navigated the chaotic scenes of Fête de la Musique, the annual all-night street music bash that draws over 2 million people.
In the clip, Clavicular looks around nervously at the diverse, rowdy crowd filling the streets, trucks blasting music, and festivalgoers dancing and drinking. He can be heard muttering to his companion:
“We don’t know where to go. Kind of like not like the best… Kind of like ghetto. Ghetto but. Oh. That’s not good.”The influencer, who built his massive following on extreme self-improvement advice, plastic surgery talk, and bold confidence claims, appeared anything but chill. He reportedly cut his stream short after describing the vibe in neighborhoods like Bastille as feeling dangerous, with dirty looks and trash everywhere.
Paris officials and tourism boosters have long insisted the city remains safe for visitors, with violent crime rates relatively low compared to many major U.S. cities, though petty theft and occasional street chaos during big events are common complaints.
