A wife completely lost her mind when her husband’s phone location showed him floating in a river, convinced he was dead. The only problem? The poor guy was alive, well, and calmly eating dinner at a restaurant the whole time.
The jaw-dropping bodycam-style video captures the unhinged scene in all its chaotic glory.
The frantic woman is seen on a street, phone in hand, screaming at arriving officers that her husband is “f---ing dead in the river right now.”Cops try to keep things under control.“Give us a minute, okay?” one officer says.
She’s not having it.“Go f---ing right now!” she bellows, demanding they rush to the water immediately.
What starts as understandable panic quickly spirals into full-blown hysteria. The woman refuses to calm down, leading to a physical struggle as officers attempt to detain her.“You’re about to be detained,” one cop warns.“Stop, f---ing get off me!” she yells back.
The situation escalates to the point where she reportedly strikes an officer and gets arrested amid the mess.
Later in the clip, now at night, the husband appears in a dress shirt and tie, holding what appears to be a takeout bag. Police calmly explain the insanity: His wife had freaked out over the GPS ping while they were trying to find him.
It was almost certainly a glitch. He was fine. She was not.
