A defiant woman at a construction site decided the best way to protest an excavator operator was to hop right into the machine’s giant metal bucket and give him the middle finger.
It did not go as planned.
According to the viral video circulating on X, the operator had already told the woman, dressed in a white top, black leggings and a patterned head covering, to move away from his equipment. She refused. Instead, she climbed into the open bucket amid piles of dirt, rocks and construction debris, apparently to flip him off in spectacular fashion.
Moments later, the bucket moved. The woman found herself trapped inside the heavy steel scoop, legs dangling and body wedged awkwardly as the machine lifted or shifted. What started as a bold middle-finger moment quickly turned into a desperate plea for help as she struggled to free herself.
The nearly two-minute clip shows the woman first squatting near the yellow excavator arm on a dusty worksite lined with trucks. She then ends up fully inside the muddy bucket, gripping the edges and looking none too pleased with her own life choices.
Moral of the story: When a construction worker tells you to stay clear of the heavy machinery, maybe just… stay clear.
