An Ohio man trying to ditch the police on a bicycle ended up ditching his pants instead after a spectacular crash into a backyard fence.
Security camera footage from a Columbus home shows the suspect pedaling hard into a residential yard before slamming head-on into a chain-link fence. The impact launches him over the top like a rag doll, his bike crumpling below.
As he tumbles onto the grass, his pants come flying off, leaving him scrambling away in his underwear. Keys and whatever dignity he had left behind in the yard.
Homeowner Mikelle Smith, who captured the entire chaotic scene on camera, summed it up perfectly: “This man left his keys and his dignity in our yard.”
Cops weren’t far behind. One officer hurdles the fence with relative ease and continues the foot chase out of frame. A second officer has a tougher time, struggling to climb over the barrier as the half-naked suspect makes his escape.
