An Amazon Prime van decided it had better places to be than waiting around for its driver, rolling off on its own in a hilarious (and slightly terrifying) security camera clip that’s making the rounds.
The footage, shared on X by Rain Drops Media, shows the classic blue Amazon delivery van parked in a leafy residential driveway surrounded by autumn trees, a white picket fence, colorful mums, and even some pumpkins. A red Jeep and several other cars sit nearby. The driver, clad in the standard vest and hoodie, hops out with a package and starts walking toward a house.
That’s when the van has other ideas.
While the driver is occupied, the unattended vehicle starts rolling. Camera angles make it look like the van is practically climbing over or brushing past a parked black SUV before continuing its unsupervised journey down the drive and toward a wooded area.
The driver eventually realizes what’s happening and takes off after it on foot as onlookers, including a kid on a scooter and an adult holding a toddler, watch the massive screw-up unfold.
