Parents across the world will be covering their eyes after watching this truly terrifying clip of children treating the rooftops of multi-storey apartment buildings like a giant playground.
The nail-biting footage, which has exploded across social media, shows several young boys casually sliding, crawling and lounging on the steep, dark-tiled roofs of high-rise residential blocks.
One child in a bright red top can be seen lying flat against the sloping surface, while others in dark clothing shuffle around, hold onto each other and move dangerously close to the edges. Below them is nothing but a sheer, multi-storey drop onto concrete.
The buildings form a dense urban complex of tall apartment towers, some appearing at least 15 to 20 storeys high, with peaked roofs that offer almost no foothold.
The youngsters appear completely unfazed as they scramble across the slippery-looking tiles, at times lying down or inching their way along the steepest sections. There are no railings, harnesses or any form of protection visible.
Similar heart-stopping incidents have repeatedly emerged from high-rise neighbourhoods in recent years, often leaving neighbours filming in horror while the children eventually make their way back down unharmed.
The video has left many asking the same question: where on earth were the adults?
