There are levels to being unhinged, and then there is whatever happened at this house last night.
A woman who apparently works at Magic City rolled up to her boyfriend’s spot after he blocked her. That’s already a choice. You get blocked, you don’t immediately start doing recon on the property. Most people take the L and go home. This one did not take the L.
She hits the Ring camera. Another girl’s voice comes through. That’s all it took.No arguing through the speaker. No “open the door, we need to talk.”
No waiting for him to come outside like a normal person having a messy relationship. She just sprinted around back, took a running start, and dove headfirst through the sliding glass door like she was trying to score on a 50-50 ball.
Glass everywhere. The kind of crash that makes the neighbors pause their TV. She didn’t even hesitate. One second she’s standing there in little shorts and a jacket, looking mildly annoyed. The next second she’s airborne, arms out, going through that door like it personally insulted her family.
You can say a lot of things about the situation. You can question why he’s blocking a Magic City girl in the first place. You can wonder why another woman is answering the door at his house. You can even ask why anyone thought a sliding glass door was going to stop someone who just heard that voice.
None of it matters. The second that other girl started talking, the glass never stood a chance.
