Controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular is facing rape and drugging charges after a then-17-year-old girl told cops he plied her with booze on a livestream at his family’s Cape Cod mansion, then had sex with her while she was too wasted to consent.
Braden Peters, 20, the shirtless streamer who built a following telling young men how to “mog” their faces and physiques, was charged Sept. 8 in Orleans District Court with rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse, and providing alcohol to someone under 21.
The alleged incident happened May 23, 2025, at his parents’ multimillion-dollar Chatham home. The accuser, influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, also known as Alorah Ziva, didn’t go to police until June 4, 2026, more than a year later.
According to the charging documents, the pair first connected on Instagram. Peters invited her out for paid “looksmaxxing” collab videos, then sent an Uber to fetch her from her grandparents’ place.
Once she arrived, she told investigators that Peters knew she was 17 but told her to lie on his Twitch stream and say she was 18. He also told her to claim the vodka he handed her was water so he wouldn’t get banned.
She said she got increasingly drunk. Police reviewed a clip in which she can be heard saying she was “so drunk” before the two kissed. She later told cops she fell asleep in his bed and woke up the next morning to him having sex with her. She said she didn’t tell him to stop because it was already happening, and that she did not consent.
A viral clip now circulating online, the same kind of footage featured in posts questioning the case, shows a very different vibe on camera: Peters shirtless, the two of them drinking, laughing, touching, and cuddling in a gaming setup while chat spam flies across the screen.
Critics of the charges are seizing on that video and the year-long delay. Peters’ representatives have called the criminal case “bogus,” pointing to a messy civil fight in Florida. Mendoza had already sued him in Miami over the same 2025 encounter, first without a sexual-assault count, then later adding one. His camp says texts and other messages show she knew what was happening with later cosmetic injections and that the police report followed after he moved to dismiss the lawsuit.
Massachusetts’ age of consent is 16. That doesn’t wipe out the alcohol, intoxication, or rape allegations, but it has some retired investigators openly wondering why prosecutors took the case.
Peters is not in custody. He’s due to be arraigned Oct. 14. If convicted on the rape count alone, he could face up to 20 years.
The case is still just that: charges. No trial. No verdict. But the combination of a cocky internet personality, a Cape Cod crash pad, a delayed report, and a livestream that looks nothing like a horror movie has already turned the story into a culture-war grenade.
